I am a photographer based in Swansea, UK. I have a BA (Hons) in Photojournalism. I am interested in photographing various political, cultural and environmental issues. I have had a number of different exhibitions of my work. I use digital technology such as cameras, scanners and printers to create images that look different rather than trying to emulate traditional film photography.
My recent work has been looking at pollution. I have tried to take photographs that do not obviously show pollution, my main project focuses on the sky, showing aeroplanes and vapour trails as well as light pollution. I used a digital camera to photograph this project, I wanted to push the camera to its limits in order to use some of the effects caused by digital cameras such as digital noise, without using image editing software to add anything to the images.
